Line Dancings for "Seniors"

This dance program is for seniors 50+ through the Listowel VON.

Easy and fun dances provide exercise, meeting new friends and

the opportunity to learn some cool dance moves.

       Beginners  1:00 - 2:00 p.m.  Intermediate  2:15-3:15 p.m.

Enjoy the perfect blend of dancing and exercise. Many varieties of

line dances will be offered: county, ballroom, latin, broadway and others.

SEQUENCE DANCES: Heel & Toe Polka, Gay Gordons and more.

Some very popular dances are called sequence dances that are often

danced by the more senior dancers, and look like so much fun. Here is

an opportunity to learn some of these dances: Heel & Toe Polka,

Gay Gordons, The Blues, St. Bernards Waltz, The French Minuet etc.

This class is for beginners and experienced dancers who want to see how 

much fun the Texas 2 Step can be. The basic 2 Step figures will be featured 

along with more advanced stylish figures according to the interests and

LATIN DANCE - RUMBA

Enjoy 4 weeks learning the most romantic latin dances of them all,  Rumba.

Slow and easy going with very romantic dance figures. Often

danced to the song "Spanish Eyes" at country dances.
