Your perfect dance partner!

Is there such an answer to the question, is there ONE dance partner for me that makes the perfect fit as a dance partner? I have read the stories of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and I have learned that when Fred met Ginger, he refused to dance with Ginger and take her on as his professional partner. But look what he soon found out and the rest is now history. I have asked this very question to all my instructors down through the years and the answer is unanimous: a big YES!!! Sometimes life will allow a dancer to find that perfect dance partner where everything from body heights and weight, dance holds and technique, chemistry, partnership manners and etiquette, trust and respect all come together. And the result is a resounding "WOW WOW WOW!!" "You make dance look like poetry in motion!!"

My last discussion with regards to this very question was with Brenton Michell and Alexandra Sevastianova, my current instructors. In the course of the years of their professional dance career, competing and performing show dances with various partners, the answer from both of them was a HUGE YES!! When that perfect partner comes along, the naturalness is there and less effort to "work hard" at what should be easy for a compatible couple.

I know I have experienced this in my dance career and I would now love to hear from all of you who would like to share your story as well. Here is a video of Brenton and Alexandra. The proof is in the pudding. Now that is poetry in motion Brenton and Alexandra:
